You remember seeing her on TV, conducting interviews on the streets of New York in fluent English, and sharing her travel stories in slightly accented Mandarin.

Fast forward to 2024, and you have more choices than ever, questioning consumerism and redefining beauty. Living in New York, you might ponder how to find your place in this diverse culture and how to define the identity of Asian women in a world dominated by capitalism, patriarchy, and individualism. 

This event couldn't come at a better time! On August 13th, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM, Yue-Sai Kan will host her English book launch and cross-border fashion party, organized by Heavy Tone Society.
